Eva Dadlez

E. M. Dadlez is an American philosopher and professor emerita of philosophy at the University of Central Oklahoma, educated at Syracuse University. Her research examines the moral and emotional dimensions of fiction, particularly in the works of Jane Austen and David Hume, as set out in her books What's Hecuba to Him? Fictional Events and Actual Emotions and Mirrors to One Another: Emotion and Value in Jane Austen and David Hume. She has published more than fifty academic articles and edited the collection Jane Austen's Emma: Philosophical Perspectives.
