Michel Malherbe

Michel Malherbe, born in 1941, is a French philosopher who specializes in Anglo-Saxon empiricism, particularly the work of David Hume, John Locke, and Francis Bacon. He has translated works by Bacon, Locke, and Hume into French and has written on Hume's empiricism, on comparisons between Kant and Hume, and on theories of causality. He has also directed the philosophy series Analyse et philosophie and Bibliotheque des philosophies at the publisher Vrin.
