Ward Jones

Ward E. Jones is a South African professor of philosophy at Rhodes University, which he joined in 1999 after completing his doctorate at the University of Oxford. His research spans epistemology, ethics, philosophy of mind, and aesthetics, beginning with his widely read 1997 paper Why Do We Value Knowledge? in the American Philosophical Quarterly. He co-edited Ethics at the Cinema with Samantha Vice and co-edits the journal Philosophical Papers.
