Benjamin Hale

Benjamin S. Hale, born in 1972, is an environmental philosopher and ethicist at the University of Colorado Boulder. He is the author of A Philosopher Looks at the Weather and The Wild and the Wicked: On Nature and Human Nature, co-editor of the Routledge Companion to Environmental Ethics, general editor of the Routledge Environmental Ethics Book Series, co-editor of the journal Ethics, Policy and Environment, and a former officer of the International Society for Environmental Ethics, serving as its vice president from 2013 to 2016 and its president from 2016 to 2019.
