Paul J. Olscamp

Paul J. Olscamp (1937-2014) was a Canadian-American philosopher who earned his doctorate in philosophy at the University of Rochester and specialized in the work of George Berkeley. He taught a philosophy course almost every semester even while serving as a university president, holding that role first at Western Washington University from 1975 to 1982 and then at Bowling Green State University from 1982 to 1995. He authored books on moral philosophy and published translations of classical philosophical works.
