Carl Posy

Carl Jeffrey Posy is an Israeli philosopher and professor emeritus in the Department of Philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He earned his PhD from Yale University in 1971 and specializes in the philosophy of mathematics, philosophical logic, and the history of philosophy, particularly the work of Kant. He has edited volumes including Kant's Philosophy of Mathematics: Modern Essays and Computability: Turing, Godel, Church, and Beyond, and previously served as academic director of the National Library of Israel.
