Michela Massimi is an Italian and British philosopher of science. She is professor of philosophy of science at the University of Edinburgh, and she has served as Vice President of the European Philosophy of Science Association from 2015 to 2019 and as President of the Philosophy of Science Association from 2023 to 2024. She has published extensively on realism in science, on perspectival realism in the philosophy of science, on local knowledge, and on the philosophical and conceptual foundations of the right to participate in science.
