Tradition

Tradition places a philosopher within the larger, longer-running current of thought that followed from their work. Wikipedia notes the Critique of Pure Reason "helped bring about the development of German idealism," the tradition most directly descended from Kant's own thinking. This dimension groups philosophers who stand within the same broad tradition.
