Haskell Curry

Logic

Haskell Brooks Curry (1900 to 1982) was an American mathematician and computer scientist best known for his work in combinatory logic, whose initial concept was based on a paper by Moses Schönfinkel but which Curry developed extensively. He is also known for Curry's paradox, which he published in 1942, and for the Curry-Howard correspondence. The programming languages Haskell, Brook and Curry, and the concept of currying, a method of transforming functions that is used in mathematics and computer science, are all named for him.
