Continental And Phenomenological Ethics

Philosophers of the ethics subcategory who belong to the continental and phenomenological traditions, including phenomenology, existentialism, hermeneutics, structuralism and poststructuralism, which grew out of European philosophy of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and treat experience, interpretation and history as central. This group gathers the thinkers of the atlas whose own cited articles place them in that tradition, so that the subcategory can be browsed by school of thought rather than by date. Membership comes from each philosopher's cited article, through its infobox, page categories or opening sentences.
