Branch of philosophy links a school of thought to the fields it actually addresses. Wikipedia notes "Stoic philosophy is traditionally divided into three interconnected disciplines: logic, physics, and ethics," a school that claimed all three branches at once rather than specializing in one. This dimension groups schools that work mainly within the same branch or branches.
