This category is the index of the reference works, encyclopedia entries, primary texts and scholarly works the atlas cites in support of its factual claims, each carrying a verbatim quotation and page locator wherever one was captured. A source page exists so a reader can see exactly what backs a specific claim rather than a bare citation with no way to check it. This category excludes the entity-description prose itself, which is composed by the atlas from sources rather than being a source in its own right.
