Anthony Holiday was a South African journalist, anti-apartheid activist, academic and philosopher, best known in philosophy as an expert on the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein. He worked as a reporter for the Cape Times and later the Rand Daily Mail while pursuing his philosophical studies, having been recognized as an intellectual talent by Professor Martin Versfeld.
