Didier Njirayamanda Kaphagawani (died 2000) was a Malawian philosopher who served as professor of philosophy and vice-principal at Chancellor College, University of Malawi. His work centered on African epistemology and concepts of personhood, and he used language analysis of Chichewa proverbs from Malawi, Zambia, and Mozambique to clarify the relationship between individualism and communitarianism in African thought.
