Hans Blüher

Hans Blüher (1888 to 1955) was a German writer and philosopher who became known as an early member and self-styled historian of the Wandervogel youth movement. He argued that male bonding and pederasty formed the basis of a stronger nation and state, an idea later taken up within segments of the Hitler Youth. A radical conservative and monarchist, he opposed the Weimar Republic and briefly supported the Nazi movement before turning against it in 1934.
