Miran Božovič is a Slovenian philosopher and psychoanalyst associated with the Ljubljana school of psychoanalysis. Born in Ljubljana, he holds a degree in comparative literature and philosophy along with a doctorate in philosophy from the University of Ljubljana, where he teaches early modern philosophy. His writing has addressed Bentham's concept of the panopticon, conceptions of the body in early modern philosophy, and the influence of traditional exorcist ideas on Descartes's philosophy.
