Mogobe Bernard Ramose is a South African philosopher and one of the key thinkers who popularized African philosophy, and Ubuntu philosophy specifically, on the international stage. He is Professor of Philosophy at the University of South Africa in Pretoria, earned his doctorate from KU Leuven in Belgium in 1983, and worked at the University of Venda after returning to South Africa in 1996.
