Reidar Krummradt Lie, born in 1954, is a Norwegian philosopher and emeritus professor at the University of Bergen who specializes in bioethics and research ethics. He earned his PhD from the University of Minnesota under Philip Kitcher and his MD from the University of Bergen, and has worked as an adjunct researcher in the Department of Bioethics at the United States National Institutes of Health. He edited the Oxford Textbook of Clinical Research Ethics, published in 2008.
