Tony Duvert

Tony Duvert was a French writer and philosopher. In the 1970s he won the Prix Medicis for his novel Paysage de Fantaisie and became known for a body of work whose core themes were the defense of paedophilia and a critique of modern child rearing. The shift in public attitudes toward sexual liberation and child sexuality during the 1980s, after a decade in which he had been able to express these views publicly, left him feeling frustrated and oppressed.
