Zailan Moris is a Malaysian scholar of Islamic philosophy who taught at Universiti Sains Malaysia until her retirement in 2017. She studied under the Iranian philosopher Seyyed Hossein Nasr and earned her doctorate from American University in 1994. Her research and publications focus on classical Islamic philosophers, particularly Mulla Sadra, examining themes of revelation, intellectual intuition, and reason in his metaphysics.
