This category holds individual philosophical texts: treatises, dialogues, essays and foundational documents whose argument or influence is significant enough to track as its own entity apart from its author. A work is placed under whichever branch its central argument belongs to, currently epistemology, ethics, metaphysics, philosophy of religion or political philosophy, the branches with enough minted works to support a distinct grouping, the same convention used for philosophers. This category excludes a philosopher's collected views generally, which belong on that philosopher's own page, and religious scripture, which is tracked on Divinity Atlas.
