Home›Philosophy of Science›Analytic Philosophy Of ScienceGroupAnalytic Philosophy Of SciencePhilosophers of the philosophy of science subcategory who belong to the analytic tradition, which treats philosophy as the clarification of concepts and arguments, often with the tools of formal logic and the study of language, and which has dominated English-speaking philosophy since the early twentieth century. This group gathers the thinkers of the atlas whose own cited articles place them in that tradition, so that the subcategory can be browsed by school of thought rather than by date. Membership comes from each philosopher's cited article, through its infobox, page categories or opening sentences.Browse BySourcesComments (0)Reader Challenges (0)Browse ByAll Analytic Philosophy Of ScienceAnalytic Philosophy Of Science23 entriesAnalytic Philosophy Of ScienceFilter Results23 entriesMovementAllAnalytic Philosophy Of Science (23)School of PhilosophyAllLogical Positivism (1)Branch of PhilosophyAllEpistemology (5)Logic (3)Metaphysics (5)Philosophy of Biology (1)Philosophy of Mathematics (1)Philosophy of Medicine (1)Philosophy of Mind (2)Philosophy of Physics (2)Philosophy of Science (20)Political Philosophy (2)EraAll1882 (2)1887 (1)1890 (1)1891 (1)1902 (2)1905 (1)1919 (1)1922 (2)1923 (1)1924 (1)1925 (1)1936 (1)1941 (1)1944 (1)1946 (2)1948 (1)1956 (1)1964 (1)1965 (1)TraditionAllAnalytic (2)Analytic philosophy, Berlin Circle, Logical behaviorism (1)Analytic philosophy, scientific realism, emergentism (1)Analytic, Berlin Circle, Logical empiricism (1)Analytic, Critical perceptual realism (1)Constructive empiricism in philosophy of science (1)Critical rationalism (1)Logical Positivism, Vienna Circle (1)Philosophy of science (1)NationalityAllArgentina (1)Austria (3)Canada (2)Finland (2)Germany (4)Greece (1)Hungary (1)Netherlands (1)United Kingdom (4)United States (6)In GroupAllAnalytic Philosophy Of Science (23)Birthplace / RegionAllArgentina (1)Austria (3)Canada (2)Finland (2)Germany (4)Greece (1)Hungary (1)Netherlands (1)United Kingdom (4)United States (6)Show ResultsBrowseCompareSelect all 23Adolf GrünbaumPhilosophy of Science3 linksAlexander BirdPhilosophy of Science5 linksBas van FraassenPhilosophy of Science3 linksC.D.
