Schools of Philosophy

School entities name organized traditions and movements of thought, from ancient schools such as Stoicism and the Academy through modern traditions such as Analytic Philosophy and Existentialism, distinct from an individual philosopher's own body of work and from a single argument or position a school may hold. A school groups multiple thinkers under one shared method, doctrine or lineage, and this band is where a reader browses philosophy by movement rather than by individual figure.
