Works

Work entities are the books, essays, dialogues and other written works this atlas documents on their own terms, from Plato's dialogues through contemporary academic monographs, distinct from the philosopher who wrote a work and from the school or position a work is often read as founding or defending. A work groups by branch, matching the primary philosophical territory it addresses, and this band is where a reader browses philosophy by its texts rather than by the thinkers or traditions those texts belong to.
