Argument-position entities name specific, citable philosophical arguments and stances, from a classic named argument such as the Trolley Problem or the Ontological Argument through a standing position such as Compatibilism or Moral Realism, distinct from the philosopher who first advanced one and from the broader branch or school it belongs to. This band groups them by the branch of philosophy the argument or position primarily addresses, and it is where a reader browses philosophy by its actual claims and disputes rather than by who made them or where they were made.
